Diabecline wins an Edison Award for Best New Pharmaceutical Product

pharmaCline^®’s Diabecline^®first aid antibiotic ointment received the Bronze Award for 2012 Best New Pharmaceutical Product at the 25th Annual Edison Awards in New York City. pharmaCline^® joined some of the world’s most well known corporations at the New York Academy of Sciences, which hosted the Edison Awards Innovation Showcase and Forum. The subsequent Awards Gala event acknowledged the hard work, innovation and commitment of all of the 2012 Edison Award winners.

The start of pharmaCline^® can be traced back to multiple 20th Century events relating to antibiotic-resistant bacteria and wound care. I recall the 1960’s when men were still treating their chronic wounds suffered during World War II that had never healed. These men were still dressing their battle wounds decades after receiving their injury. This was often due to resistant bacterial loads that could not be eradicated.
